Share your views in the State of the Social Sector Survey
February 12, 2024
Last year, NAVCA worked with Pro Bono Economics, Nottingham Trent University and other VCSE organisations to create a new survey, looking at how the cost of living crisis is impacting our sector. The first survey generated lots of useful data that we were able to feed back to government, to let them know what support is needed. Now, the second survey has launched, looking specifically at workforce, funding and demand - and we need your input!
This is a moment of rapid change for the whole sector, as the cost-of-living bites and service demands rise. Completing this independent survey by experts at Pro Bono Economics and Nottingham Trent University's National VCSE Data and Insights Observatory is essential. By taking part, you will help inform government, media, and many others, of the pressures that charities, community groups and voluntary organisations are facing. The survey covers areas such as income, people, demand and impact.
The results of this survey will provide essential information on issues which chime with many current debates. In Wave 2 of the survey, the thematic focus is on the sector's workforce -retention, recruitment and skills etc.
The survey should take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and contains questions regarding finances, service demand, and volunteering, as well as some questions focusing on the workforce theme. Please ensure that you are best placed to provide the answers or can seek input, in order to provide the most accurate picture possible. If you have any specific requirements or have any further questions, please email the team at VCSEObservatory@ntu.ac.uk
We're very grateful for your time in helping to make a difference and ensure the sector’s voice is heard!
Please help us to support you, by completing the state of the social sector survey.
