Community Action: MK are thrilled that a new Volunteering Pillar is being installed at MK Rose, an iconic public space used for celebration, commemoration and contemplation for many occasions, which is located in Campbell Park at the heart of Milton Kynes. The pillar is being unveiled by the Mayor of Milton Keynes at the start of the Volunteers Week 2020 - on the 1st June and its inscription reads: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”

Harrogate and District Community Action's ‘Here to HELP’ volunteers have jointly assisted local people struggling with over 1,000 tasks, such as shopping and picking up prescriptions.
The Coalville Education Partnership (CEP) has used their on-site kitchen facilities to prepare hot food and deliver it to vulnerable people living in Coalville and the surrounding area.
